Curved No
The LG UK6570PUB has a swell design. The stand up holds the Goggle box well, but information technology does wobble a flake if nudged and the stand up is nearly the full width of the TV, then y'all'll demand a large desk-bound if you aren't planning on VESA mounting it. The back of the Idiot box is 1 large metal panel, and while information technology isn't loose, information technology doesn't seem very solid and may paring easily. The overall build quality is good, and there shouldn't be any issues with it.
The stand is almost the full width of the Telly, and requires a large table if you don't program on wall mounting it. The top of the stand is plastic, but the main structure of the stand up is made of metal.
Footprint of the 75" stand up: lx.5" x xiii.6"
Wall Mount VESA 600x400
The dorsum of the LG 75UK6570PUB is very manifestly. There is a single, large metallic console covering the entire back of the Tv. No thought was given to cable management, there is only a unmarried plastic cablevision tie included in the box.
Borders 0.84" (2.1 cm)
The borders are thicker than some like models, including the UK7700. There is a small gap between the outer panel and the display, but this isn't really noticeable under normal viewing conditions.
Max Thickness 3.62" (9.two cm)
The LG UK6570PUB is ane of the thickest TVs we've tested. It can be placed adequately close to a wall, but due to the stand up design information technology tin can't be placed flush with a wall unless VESA mounted.
The LG UK6570PUB has good build quality. There are no issues with most of the TV, but the back panel is a single canvass of sparse metallic that may dent easily. Overall, information technology is very similar to the UK7700.

Notation: the 70" model has a VA console, and volition likely take a better contrast ratio.

Out of the box, the TV is one of the near accurate displays we have tested. White residual dE and color dE are very low, and the color temperature is simply slightly cool. The boilerplate gamma is close to our target of 2.2, simply fluctuates depending on the input, and so some scenes are overly brilliant and some are overly dark. Nigh people won't experience the demand to have the Television receiver professionally calibrated.

After scale, the TV is nearly perfect. The white point is essentially perfect, and the color error was corrected a bit, but not entirely. Colour temperature is about perfect, and gamma is more uniform.
You can meet our recommended settings hither, and our recommended HDR settings here.
Older 480p content is displayed well without any obvious upscaling artifacts.
720p content looks good, and is upscaled without whatever bug.
1080p content, similar from a Blu-ray player or non-4k panel looks great, most as skilful as native 4k content.
4k content is displayed perfectly without any bug. Unlike the UK6300, the UK6570PUB does not utilise the less accurate RGBW pixel structure.

The Tv set has a decent color gamut, just it falls curt of the wide color gamut necessary for HDR content to expect swell.
In the 'Standard' Picture Mode, the EOTF does non follow our input stimulus, and most scenes are too dark. Dissimilar nigh TVs, nosotros recommend setting Dynamic Contrast to 'High'. Nosotros tested the TV with this setting, as without it the TV is too dim. In PC fashion, the UK6570 is even dimmer, and in Game fashion it is even worse.
If you lot discover HDR content as well dim, setting the Backlight to '100' with Dynamic Tone Mapping enabled and Dynamic Dissimilarity on 'High' improves the EOTF, and it near follows the input stimulus perfectly.

Motion
80% Response Time 4.5 ms
100% Response Time 15.3 ms
The LG UK6570PUB has an excellent fast response time. At that place are duplications in moving objects due to the 120Hz backlight, and this may carp some people. At that place is significant overshoot in some transitions, but this shouldn't cause any problems.

Motion Interpolation (60 fps) No
The Idiot box has a movement interpolation feature, only is limited to interpolating 30 fps content up to 60 fps, due to the 60 Hz console. The 86" model has a 120 Hz panel, and is likely able to interpolate upward to 120 fps.

The frequency response is average-at-all-time. LFE (low-frequency extension) is at 90Hz, which is decent. This means this TV won't produce any thump or rumble in the sub-bass region, but does take a good corporeality of punch and body to its bass. The response above the LFE points is fifty-fifty and flat, which is keen and of import for producing clear and intelligible dialog. Yet, this TV doesn't go loud, which may be a deal breaker if information technology's going to exist used in large and crowded environments.

Weighted THD @ Max 1.148
IMD @ 80 2.27%

Differences Between Sizes And Variants
We tested the 75" UK6570 (75UK6570PUB) and for the most office, we await our review to be valid for the 86" UK6570 (86UK6570PUB).
The 70" variant (70UK6570PUB) has a VA panel, and we expect it to accept a better native dissimilarity ratio, but worse viewing angles.
If someone comes across a different type of panel or if their LG UK6570 doesn't stand for to our review, let us know and we will update the review. Note that some tests such every bit the gray uniformity may vary between individual units.

Unlike our other photographs, this movie wasn't taken under a controlled environment, then do not draw conclusions from it.
The 75UK6570 is a skillful Telly for most uses. It is aggressively priced, and beats most of the competition in the same price range. See our recommendations for the all-time 75 inch TVs.
43" 49" 50" 55" 65"
The LG UK6570 is much meliorate than the LG UK6300. The UK6570 is much brighter with SDR content and has ameliorate colour volume. The UK6570 has improve motion handling, cheers to the faster response time. Finally, native 4k content looks better on the UK6570 since information technology doesn't use the less accurate RGBW sub-pixel structure found on the UK6300.
75" 82" 86"
The LG UM8070 and the LG UK6570 have different panels, each with advantages and disadvantages. The UM8070 has a VA console that delivers better dark room functioning thanks to its higher contrast ratio and better black uniformity. The UK6570 has an IPS panel with wider viewing angles and favors watching TV from the side. The UK6570 can handle reflections better, only the response fourth dimension on the UM8070 is faster and thus motion looks crisper on the UM8070. The LG UM8070 has an IPS panel and the differences with the UK6570 should be less credible in that respect.
43" 50" 55" 65" 70" 75"
Overall, the Vizio Due east Series 2018 and LG UK6570 are very similar. The Vizio Due east Series 2018 has a VA panel and is amend suited for dark room viewing sitting straight in front. The LG UK6570 has an IPS panel and is improve suited for a bright room with side seating. The UK6570 has an optional move interpolation feature, dandy for fans of the lather opera effect. The LG as well has lower input lag, nifty for gaming or use as a PC monitor.
65" 75" 85"
The Sony X850F and the LG UK6570 are very like overall. The X850F is brighter in SDR and HDR and has a broad color gamut. The X850F has better overall move handling, with slightly faster response time, well-nigh flicker-free backlight, and improve motion interpolation thanks to the 120 Hz panel. The LG UK6570 has much lower input lag, great for gaming or use as a PC monitor. The 85" X850F uses a VA console, compared to the 86" UK6570 that has an IPS panel, so the XBR85X850F probable will perform meliorate in a dark room.
43" 50" 55" 65" 75"
The LG UK6570 is a bit better than the Samsung NU6900 unless dark room performance is important. The UK6570 has wider viewing angles than the NU6900 and better reflection handling, making information technology a better choice for brilliant rooms with lots of side seating. The UK6570 has a faster response time, then movement looks clearer with less blur trail. The NU6900 has a VA panel and is better suited for a dark room with no side seating.
xl" 43" 50" 55" 58" 65" 75"
These are ii different types of TVs, so if you have a room with wide seating arrangement, then the LG UK6570 might be amend due to the broad viewing angles. On the other paw, in a darker room, the blacks of the Samsung NU7100 are deeper and enhance the picture quality provided you sit down straight in front. In terms of less critical differences, the LG UK6570 can handle reflections improve and has a crisper image due to the faster response time.
49" 55" 65" 75" 82"
These two TVs are very different. However, most people will agree that the Samsung NU8000 is much improve than the LG UK6570 overall. The LG has an IPS panel and is more suitable for a room with a wide seating organisation, thanks to its improve viewing angles. The Samsung, on the other hand, has meliorate dark room performance, provided you sit right in front. The Samsung NU8000 tin can too get brighter to fight glare and has a few gaming goodies like FreeSync support and auto low latency.
43" 50" 55" 58" 65" 75"
The Samsung RU7100 and the LG UK6570 are very like overall, merely they employ different panel types, each with their strengths and weaknesses. The RU7100 uses a VA panel and has much ameliorate night room functioning, cheers to the fantabulous contrast ratio. The UK6570, on the other hand, except for the 70" size, uses an IPS console. This results in worse dark room performance, just much better viewing angles. Beyond these panel differences, the UK6570 can remove judder from 24p sources, and it has better reflection handling.
55" 65"
The LG B8 and the LG UK6570 have unlike panel technologies, each with their advantages and disadvantages. The B8 can evangelize truthful blacks and a much better dark room performance, thank you to its OLED console. The B8 has wider viewing angles, a faster response time, and much better gray uniformity, all of which are great for watching sports. The UK6570 has an IPS panel that is immune to the risk of burn-in.
